Set of 14 vintage handmade quilt blocks, each measuring approximately 13” x 13”.

These wonderful old blocks feature a scrappy pinwheel/windmill-style pattern, pieced from an eclectic assortment of vintage fabrics including plaids, florals, novelty prints, solids and small-scale prints. No two are exactly alike.

One of my favorite details is the construction: several blocks still retain the original newspaper/paper foundation on the reverse, offering a wonderful glimpse into the resourceful quilt-making methods of the original maker. The newspaper has not been removed and will be left exactly as found.

These are unfinished vintage quilt blocks and have been stored for many years. Expect the charming irregularities associated with genuinely handmade pieces—uneven edges, loose threads, variations in stitching and size, folds, and possible age-related wear. Please review photographs carefully for condition.

Perfect for completing into a quilt, pillows, framed textile art, jackets, bags, wall hangings, or other heirloom-style sewing projects.
